Too exhausted from shooting the last two days to write anything mildly coherent, I’ll leave you with a photo journal of our shooting. More soon. In the meantime, we are nearly 50% funded! Two weeks to go! Please think of donating here!
Sydney Wayser – the musician and lead singer of CLARA-NOVA – has arrived in Paris! We put her to work right away filming our first shots around Paris. (Be sure to follow the adventures on Instagram here).
Annnnnd, we found our lead guy – William Adeline!
Last week, we had an intense full day of auditions. Le Casting Parisien gave us so much talent to choose from that it was a difficult decision to make. But as soon as he walked into the room, Laura and I looked at each other with that gut feeling. He just owned the room – so congrats to William!
He’s an upcoming rapper in Paris, and has the exact quality we needed in our guy. See below for his latest music video.
Every kid wants to be a superhero. So why not make them into one in a short film with an award-winning director for just $300? Seriously though, these videos are brilliantly executed and will make a memory your child will have forever.
Please share if you know anyone who might be interested.
If you’re in Paris, Berlin, or LA you’re eligible.
Our director, Laura Beckner, will spend the day with an aspiring kid auteur or actor crafting a short film and shooting it together. Then she will edit and add soundtrack, titles et voila!
For kids ages 6 and up (She’s open to babies but it would be much more avant-garde) in Los Angeles, Paris or Berlin.

Sydney goes shopping through Beverly Hills to find the perfect outfit for the music video!
Made for IGTV and saved for you! Laura takes us on her journey of finding a coffee in the Marais during “les vacances d’été”, finding interesting shots on every street corner, pulling her shot list together and the casting of the young male lead in the music video.
After a little bit of a frustrating wait for Kickstarter, we decided to go with INDIEGOGO as our crowd-funding platform. They were quicker to respond, their template was easy to create and it all just made sense.
We’ve got incredible perks for you that we’ll be updating throughout the campaign. So don’t think just because you’ve donated once you can’t always donate again and get another perk!
If you can’t donate, please think about sharing! Sharing is caring!! We will be providing easy-to-share links for you soon.
